Tarot Readings...

Most readings that I do focus on your own personal development: mentally; spiritually and practically - how day to day life, and the situations you have, and will, face reflect on this. Please be aware that I can only give messages received through the cards, and I will always be honest about what they are saying, whether positive or negative, so please think carefully about whether you are prepared for these insights before asking for a reading. Readings will not be provided for those under the age of 18, or for other people.

I take an intuitive approach to tarot, and offer what some call might 'psychic' readings, although it is important to note that I am not a fortune teller; readings should be viewed with respect, treated as spiritual guidance, and should not be booked for entertainment purposes only.

Infrequently, loved ones who have passed over will try to connect through the cards, although this is uncommon, and clairvoyant readings are not offered as a service.

Workshop Series:

Prehistoric Ritual and Religion

During this course we will cover the ritual aspects of each prehistoric period, (including the Palaeolithic, the Mesolithic, Neolithic and Iron Age) investigating how we can reconstruct religious beliefs and world view through the use of artifacts, monuments and ethnographic studies. The relevance of these practices today will also be discussed, as well as the links between prehistoric practices, ancient sites and modern Paganisms.

Tarot Workshop Series:

Session 1: An Introduction to Tarot.

This workshop is aimed at complete beginners, acting as an introduction to the tarot pack and its symbolism. The individual cards will be explored, and interpretation will be discussed in terms of tarot suits, elements and numerology. We will also learn some grounding and cleansing techniques which is a very important part of tarot use which is often ignored or trivialised! This session will run for 2.5 to 3 hours.

Session 2: Reading with Tarot.

This workshop is suitable for those who have taken the Introductory workshop, or feel that they are already up to this point of study. This session will act as an introduction to shuffling and cutting the cards, tarot spreads (Celtic Cross; 3 card spread), Q&A (modifiers, reversals and more), techniques for enhancing intuitive reading skills, and grounding and cleansing part 2. This session will run for 2.5 to 3 hours.

13 Week Tarot Course

This 13 week course is intended for beginners as an introduction to the Tarot. We will cover all of the cards, looking at the Major Arcana as a journey of life progression, and also how the numbers channel the energy of each suit for the Minor cards. Each week we will look at two numbers. Reading techniques, spreads and ethics will also be covered. This course is intended to provide a working knowledge of the cards, but to also develop your intuitive abilities whilst working with the Tarot, and practical activities will be included in each session to aid this.

A certificate of completion is availbel for all those attending a minimum of 10 sessions, with additional information added about any optional assessments you choose to undertake, which can include: a 3 card tarot reading; a Celtic Cross reading, and additonally a 1500 word essay for those wishing to deepen their understanding of the subject. It must be noted that nationally accepted tarot qualifications are not available, so these certificates will not be formal qualifications, but will reflect your abilities and what you have acheived during your study.

Either, or both tarot workshop sessions can be taken. The cost is £15 for one workshop, or £25 for both (per person) if taken together. 12 places are available for each session, if a minimum number of 6 people attend a session, the price per person will be reduced. Students, pensioners and people in receipt of benefits will be charged the reduced rate of £10 for one session, or £15 for both (proof required).

All of the above workshops will be held in Liverpool at Hocus, Herbs and Hopes, although internet based versions are also envisaged for the future.

Please email to register interest for these workshops, to receive updates on event dates, or for more information.

Workshops can be run for organised groups in other areas of the country by special arrangement.
